The owner Mr. Quazi A.F.M. Zainul Abedin, who is an Agriculture Graduate of 1953 batch from Bangladesh Agricultural University, started the business with two employees under a tiny roof of only 150 sft. After a long journey of more than 4 decades, they are, at present, a multi-disciplinary business conglomerate engaged in Distribution and Manufacturing type of businesses under a single umbrella named Group QA with staff strength of around 6000 people.
Group QA has the successful track-record of dealing in crop protection chemicals, agricultural hybrid seeds, automotive spares and accessories, engineering tools and equipment, moisture control, readymade garments and consumer items.
Now, Group QA overseas the following units of businesses listed chronologically based on when the business was established: Auto Crop Care Ltd, Abedin Garments Ltd, Kaniz Garments Limited, Kaniz Fashions Limited, Abedin Equipment Ltd, Abedin Agrovet Limited, Quazi Enterprise Ltd., and Quazi Abedin Welfare Trust.,
