QUAZI ABEDIN WELFARE TRUST KANIZ FATEMA GIRLS’ SCHOOL

Beside our business ventures, we, in response to the call of social responsibility and with the hope of bringing up Educated Mothers and to contribute to the social well-being, have established a Trust namely Quazi Abedin Welfare Trust.

From the Trust fund, a girls’ high school was founded in 2005 at Nabagram, Manikganj named ‘Kaniz Fatema Girls School’. It is a non-profit institution with about 400 regular students. We provide them with proper education including all reading materials, uniform etc. A group of dedicated well-trained teachers including an experienced principal have been engaged there. All cost and expenditure, including in-campus free residence for teachers and staffs, are borne by the trust.

At Bhaluka, Mymenshing, we have built a mosque, which is also considered to be one of the largest and finest looking mosques in the district of Mymensingh, to cater the need of local community with a view to fostering religious fraternity.
